She’ll be preparing dishes from her newly released (and our current favorite go-to) cookbook “Home Cooked”. She’ll be discussing how to be better, more intuitive, and more relaxed cooks – not for the occasional dinner party, but for every day.

Anya’s is recognized as a sustainable food expert. Her career aligns two decades of hands-on experience in the food industry with an overwhelming passion for farming. She grew up in Palo Alto and after graduating from college subsequently moved to Sicily to work in rural cheese dairies and pursue her passion with farming.
After returning to her home state of California in 2006, she built two social-venture food businesses (one was sold, the other was a one-time event) and founded a small advisory firm that developed over two dozen profitable, values-driven food businesses in its three years of activity.
In 2011, she co-founded Belcampo, a vertically integrated, sustainable meat company that encompasses an organic and Animal Welfare Approved farm and slaughterhouse as well as butcher shops and restaurants in the Los Angeles and Bay Area regions. The company’s newest location will be opening at Jack London Square in Oakland later this fall. Belcampo also owns and operates an eco-lodge and organic-certified farm in Belize.
Anya is recognized as one of the “40 under 40” by Food & Wine Magazine and named a “Nifty Fifty” by The New York Times. She’s served as a regular judge on “Iron Chef” for the 2009, 2010, and 2011 seasons and has appeared as a guest judge on “Iron Chef Gauntlet” during the 2017 season.
